What is the Rice Purity Test?

The Rice Purity Test, also called the Rice Purity Quiz, is a 100-question checklist about relationships, sex, alcohol, and other experiences. Each Yes lowers your score from 100. This independent site also offers its own 20-question quick version. Both are for adults and are meant for entertainment.

How is my Rice Purity score calculated?

You start at 100. In the quick quiz, each Yes subtracts 5 points. In the full test, each Yes subtracts 1 point. No does not subtract points, and every question must be answered before a score is shown.

Is the 20-question score the same as the full score?

No. Our quick quiz uses 20 selected questions and gives each Yes five times the weight it has in the full test. The two versions can give you different scores. Check the version on the card when comparing results.

Can I continue from the quick quiz to the full test?

Yes. On your first visit to the full test, your quick answers are carried over to the matching questions. If you already have full-test progress, that progress is restored instead. You can edit any answer.

Are my answers private?

The test calculates your score in your browser and does not send your answers or score to our server. Your progress stays in this tab when browser storage is available. If you share a result card, it shows your score and Yes count, but no individual answers.

What does a high or low score mean?

A higher score means fewer Yes answers; a lower score means more. For example, 80 on the full test means 20 Yes answers out of 100. There is no passing score, and the number does not measure your character or maturity.
